Summary of My June

I've appeared before the Court of Appeal..Wooohoo!! Am excited. I arrived there earlier with Mira than the rest of the team and had to wait for them since we don't know in which court we should be in. =P. After that we went to have lunch at the Legend, an Indian restaurant which served banana leaf. The food was nice but I still think Nirwana is the best (must ask Azad to bring me to Nirwana this weekend!).

June indicates a month since Azad is transferred to Sg. Siput. That means less weekend outing. Whenever we met, the topic of our discussion will  be the Wedding.

In this month also, quite a number of Azad's friends are married. I occasionally accompanied Azad to their wedding receptions. That's the only time I spent with Azad. The others were times with his family or at his home talking about the big day. Sigh. I should be grateful for being able to see him during those weekends, shouldn't I?

The final week of June, Azad went back to Putrajaya carpooling with his staff who lives in KL. Then he went back to Ipoh via the train.

The train should depart at 9.10 p.m., but it had been reschedule for quite a number of time. Azad only boarded the train at 10.30 p.m. and arrived Ipoh 3 hours later.

Azad took the bed since that's the only seat available in the train. According to him, it's uncomfortable since there are kids running up and down the coach. I'm sure that is his first and last ride to Ipoh from KL by train.

What else happened in June?

Preparation for the Wedding!

I've sent all 3 sets of kain to my tailor in Klang. She's the one who did my baju for bertunang. She is just an ordinanry tailor, but made great piece of clothing. I'm like her workmanship, how she sew my baju kurung. As long as it fits my satisfaction, then it's fine for me. =) My 3 sets of kain consist of kain for Akad Nikah, Majlis Berinai and Majlis Bertandang. For my Reception, I'll just rent it from the Mak Andam, unless suddenly I want it to be tailored (hopes not!)

People keep asking me what is my theme colour. To be honest, I'm not sure either. I don't think it has a theme. But for sure none of my family members will wear the same colour baju on my wedding day because we prefer not to. Even my brothers disagree with the idea of wearing the same coloured baju.

I've also met Mak Jah in Klang also for Bunga Pahar. My mom insist on having it custom made by Mak Jah. It cost quite a lot, but I'm sure my mom wants the best for me. Mak Jah advised us to have 2 sets of Bunga Pahar which will be placed at the Pelamin and have another set of Bunga Telur for those who Merenjis me.

Since Mak Jah did my hantaran for bertunang, I'm considering to ask her to do it again for my wedding. She charges it quite expensive (for me) but I'm satisfied with her. My mom on the other hand wants her friend, Makcik Nor to do it since she's a bit reluctant to spend more money onto Mak Jah. haha.

On the final week of June also, my mom went back to Kajang. We (me, mami, abah, dira and adik) went to Jalan TAR. Mom wants to buy bedding set for my bilik pengantin. I had a disgareement with mami but at last I gave up and let abah buys the one that mami likes. I still don't like the bedding set.

After that we went to IKEA. Mami wants to look for things for the house. That's Abah's first time to IKEA and he just had to stop at everything and have a look! My God! It's really tiring waiting for him. Mami was very impatient at that time because we have set an appointmet with Mak Jah (luckly Mak Jah had something to do at that time!). I eventually bought some things for my future house in Klebang (the one Azad is living currently) which I shall pass to him when he comes back to KL.

Apart from that, my only elder cousin brother (the other one passed away alreadygets married in June. This is when one unfortunate event happened. No, not his wedding. His wedding is fine and lovely.

On the day of my cousin's wedding, we (me, dira and mami) were rushing doing some errands. On the way to the wedding, I asked mami if I could wear her bangle since I left my bracelet at home. It's a nice, gold bangle with beautiful carving on it. I was driving at that time, so Dira took it and put it on her lap. We stopped by at one shop and Dira goes out of the car without realising and remembering that the bangle was on her lap. The bangle must have slipped from her lap onto the road under my car! We don't realised it until mami asked both Dira and me about it. We quickly search for it in my car, but to no avail found it. Mami was very sad since she bought the bangle when she's operating the school canteen and there is no other bangle with the same pattern at the moment. I now, together with Dira must save up to replace mami's bangle. Sigh. The bangle at least cost RM5k now (crossing fingers that the value of the gold will drop as low as RM50 per grams).

kakak, you tend to mix up your present and past tense in one sentence. You should be consistent though. If you refer everything to the past, use past tense okay?
